Premature Ejaculation Creams & Lotions
Controlling Premature Ejaculation With Delay Creams, Lotions and Gels
It's no wonder that delay creams, lotions and gels are so popular - they offer the hope of an easy and quick way to control premature ejaculation.
The problem is that they don't provide a permanent remedy; they only offer a way to prevent premature ejaculation on a temporary basis.
And there is very little reliable data about the safety of these creams, simply because most of the products on the market are not scientifically tested.
This applies just as much to delay creams containing anesthetics as those containing herbal remedies.
Those which have been tested tend to contain the anesthetics lidocaine and benzocaine, which can have a powerful impact on penile sensitivity. Even so, they may not be entirely effective in preventing a reflex ejaculation response.
It's important that when you are looking for a remedy you aren't seduced into thinking that a compound is a good treatment simply because the packaging lists a whole load of complex sounding chemicals such as niacin, lecithin, L-Arginine, Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester, and so on.
In particular you should beware of claims of compounds that claim to contain precursors of bodily hormones such as testosterone, or raise levels of brain chemicals such as serotonin, or promote circulation. There are very few compounds which would genuinely have these effects within the body.
That's why most topical delay creams are actually completely bogus and simply don't work, as you can discover if you type reviews of [insert name of product here] into Google and read what comes up.
Premature Ejaculation Delay Creams
Every man who doesn't last long enough in bed will know the pain of finding sex brought to a swift and sudden end by premature ejaculation. Even knowing that as many as 75% of men experience this is not reassuring or helpful in any way, because it doesn't remove the shame and embarrassment from your own experience when you come too soon.
But while there are some effective, simple, and helpful premature ejaculation cures available, unfortunately there are many products out there which are nothing more than pure rip-offs or charlatanism, and the problem is that they're often promoted in such a convincing way that it's hard to separate the fraud and fantasy from the reality.
You can spend a lot of time, money, and effort investing in different so-called "cures" only to find that your investment has been wasted in each of those ways. That's where we come in....
Premature Ejaculation Control & Desensitizing Creams
Creams can be a good way to help you last longer in bed; I have identified the ones that do actually have medically approved ingredients, and have scientific research backing up their ingredients as effective, able to desensitize you slightly without taking away all feeling or sense of pleasure.
A lot of the success associated with successful use of a premature ejaculation cream is about actually finding a way of applying it to yourself which works well for you -- and this is not consistent between all men.
The most common ingredients are the anesthetics benzocaine and lidocaine. Other ingredients that you might see advertised include L-Arginine (supposed to promote circulation); Maca root (supposed to increase libido drive); and Yohimbine (which is not used to cure premature ejaculation at all, but is a product used to overcome erectile dysfunction). It's a fair bet that anyone advertising a PE cure which contains Yohimbine is offering a product that is, to say the least, very questionable as a premature ejaculation cure.
It's a sad fact that people can be easily blinded with science. But, as far as I know, there is no scientific research whatsoever demonstrating that any of the the following products, all of which have been listed as ingredients in creams for the treatment of premature ejaculation have any impact on the length of sex or the speed with which you will reach your climax: lecithin, niacin, L-Arginine, ADCE, DMA (and many more).
By the way, most genuine supplies of Yohimbine are exhausted and only the pharmaceutical industry has access to them. Most herbal supplements which claimed to contain Yohimbine only contain miniscule amounts of the active substance, and this is extracted from another plant related to, but not actually, the true source of Yohimbine.
Premature Ejaculation Creams In Practice
These creams and lotions and gels can produce side-effects which may be quite unpleasant, such a sense of burning or irritation. However, they have helped many men to last longer in bed, and if you can tolerate the effect of the cream on sensitive tissues of your body, and can fid out how to use them in a way that suits you, they are not a bad option for a short-term treatment.
But.... even careful use of desensitizing creams may numb you so much that you can't even achieve an erection, or so that you feel nothing during your lovemaking.
In short: a topically applied cream with the correct amount of genuine ingredients can indeed slow down your approach to orgasm and increase your staying power, helping you to last longer during sex. However, you do need a specially formulated cream which contains the correct ingredients, and you do need to be able to tolerate any side-effects.
Typical anesthetic creams are simple to apply and are rapidly absorbed through the mucous membrane of the glans penis. This enables the active ingredients to get to work much more quickly, providing a much more effective and powerful route to greater self-control and the delay of climax.
If you want an effective PE cure there are only one or two creams that we can recommend as being helpful in obtaining you to gain control over sexual function. As far as I know, the only effective creams for the treatment of premature ejaculation contain an anesthetic which will effectively numb and desensitize the penis to sexual stimulation. You need to be aware that any product which claims not only to delay climax but to result in a hard erection is almost certainly making a bogus claim; obviously it's a powerful marketing strategy to provide more than one benefit to a man whose sexual self-confidence is low, but the simple fact of the matter is that the chemicals which promote harder erections are totally different to the ones which can help you last longer before you ejaculate.
